Stayed out of Burgos town in Sotopalacios @ La Ruta de Carlos v... Didn't look much from outside but surprised by excellent clean & well appointed bedrooms, TV and WiFi and additional facilities i.e. use of full kitchen which you could provide for yourself if you wished, lounge/TV room, washing machine. Bonus it was pet friendly!

It was a stopover on the way to Bilbao ferry. Room was very comfortable and clean. It is basically rooms over a bar and restaurant, so it means you don't have to source somewhere if you want a quick bite or nightcap! Staff (girl at the bar) was very friendly and helpful.
