The area is nice with an excellent and popular gastrobar across from the hotel. The stretch between the hotel and the bridge is quite run down with derelict houses - much as it was when I last visited in 2014. However there’s a nice park and kids playground there and of course the magnificent beach a few minutes walk away.Guest review byAnonymous

The bed creaked at the slightest move. There was an insistent clicking noise all night on my second night so I only slept for a few hours. Why give me a room on the top floor which the lift doesn’t get to? Road noise as well - a room on a lower floor to the back of the hotel would have been better. The hostel provides towel and cotton bedding. There is also a hair dryer and first aid for blisters or sore feet. The building is vry new and modern. The eceptionist was very pleasant and kind.
