The hotel is pretty good, absolutely loved the location! Booked a twin room with balcony and the view was amazing! On the left there were mountains and the sea on the right, also our balcony was right in front of the club "Oxygen" which made the atmosphere so good and it was easy to check when we should go attend the club or bar there. Even though there was a club in front of us, it wasn't too loud at night. In addition, you could also just close the balcony, the sound isolation is good. The hotel location is great, it's close to the beach and restaurants, bars, and only like a 15 minute walk to the downtown. We only had breakfast in the hotel, so mostly ate at the restaurants, a few I would recommend: "Don Corleone" a bit more expensive than all others, but the atmosphere is worth it; "Mammamia" the best pizzeria ever, the pizza is awesome, also a bit more expensive than the other restaurants near the beach, but if you love pizza you should try it for sure!; "Restaurant Hotel Garbi" not too expensive, yummy food and nice staff. If you also need to buy some water, snacks and stuff like that, I'd recommend buying it in the "Mercadonna" we bought 8 liters of water for less than 1 Euro, when in local shops they sell 1,5 liters for like a Euro. Also if you're interested in clubs I would totally recommend "Oxygen" and "Fenix" with the foam parties; people also say "The Frog" is good, but haven't been there personally, so can't say anything. Definitely try out Sangria, Tequila and all the cocktails, those here are the best I've ever had. In case you need a tip how to get from Barcelona EL Prat airport to Calella easily: if you arrive to the terminal T2, you need to find the bus station at your terminal and buy a bus ticket from Sagales; it will get you straight to Calella and costed like €10.

Excellent location - the hotel is located near the sea, first line, 2 minutes walk to the sea, which is especially good for the summer period, when it is hot. Daily cleaning of the room, change of towels, updated bathroom accessories - shampoo, shower gel. The room was on the 7th floor with a view of the sea and you could watch the sunset in the evening. The food is excellent, I recommend taking dinners - they were very varied every day - and seafood, sushi, lots of fruits, vegetables. The staff is very friendly, helped in solving emerging issues, helped to order a taxi for the return trip. I liked everything about the hotel.

very friendly. i was there for the Ironman event. the hotel are very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is amazing and they especially laid on the breakfast at 5:00 for us. All the staff are very friendly.

Staff. Staff is the backbone of this hotel and they are going above and beyond for their guests. Personal thanks to Valentina, Ruben and Virginia for being friendly and helpful. They explained to us how to get around, where we should and shouldn't go in Barcelona, what activities were available to us here in Calella Breakfast. Good breakfast with a nice variety of foods. More than enough both in quantity and variety. Rooms. Freshly renovated rooms. They look comfy, albeit somewhat empty. Overall the hotel is new, comfortable and has tons of potential. I can only wish them success. We were told that next year the hotel has restaurant opening planned, which is even better.

Calella is a Spanish seaside village on the Coats del Maresme in Calatonia. Sandy beaches, fishing boats, pine trees, whitewashed houses, rocks and the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea complete the puzzle of this unique holiday resort.

    We liked the area and the beaches.

    We liked the area and the beaches. We were not expecting what we found also because a few years ago we went in the same area (Calella) and we were very happy with the hotel, the food and everything else. At that time we had all included breakfast, lunch, dinner with all soft and any alcoholic drinks included. Unfortunately this time that hotel was booked up for the time we wanted. But Calella is very nice and quite, I will recommend to anyone, but not the hotel we were in this time.

    Calella completely exceeded our expectations!

    Calella completely exceeded our expectations! It's a charming coastal town with beautiful beaches, clear water, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We loved walking along the promenade, exploring the little streets, and enjoying the sunsets by the sea. The town has the perfect balance — it’s lively but not overwhelming, with plenty of cafés, shops, and restaurants to enjoy. We felt safe, comfortable, and truly relaxed during our entire stay. It was a beautiful experience and we’re already hoping to come back!

    Beautiful Calella, is a hive of activity with lots of little shops selling a variety of things, beautiful churches, great coffee shops and restaurants and wonderful cultural events. And, it's on the trainline sobyou can visit Barcelona, Girona, and lots of other places for art, architecture, culture, botanical gardens and beautiful beaches.

    Calella has a great beach and many, many restaurants for all budgets. There are many great places to eat including Neska Polita, Atípic and Mal Cuat, among many more. It's also a fun place to shop and go out and the promenade by the beach is very nice.

    I was there for an event so didn't start exploring Calella till after the event and wished we had had more time. Some older bits to see and lots of nice shops. Some lovely places to eat out too.

    Lively town, plenty of shops, bars, restaurants & cafes. Little train that takes you around the town for 3 euros pp (1.50 euros pensioners). Lovely clean beach. Drinks & food at very reasonable prices.

    A hidden gem in a perfect location of Calella. Absolutely loved the family feel of this hotel. The hosts made us feel very welcome. Spotlessly clean with a fantastic pool area which has the sun most of the day. The location couldn’t be better close to beach and the bars and restaurants but it’s not disturbed by much noise even with our room overlooking the street. For the price you can’t go wrong.     The location is excellent. Parking available, which I used. All the staff were all so helpful, especially the lady who welcomed you into the dining room. Half board. The choice of food at both breakfast and dinner was superb. The hotel opened the dining room at 5.00 am. to allow competitors at the Barcelona Ironman to have a good breakfast before their race. That is real quality service. Poolnis small but very functional.

    The first time I went to Calella... and I stayed at this hotel because it is in a very good area and the staff is very friendly at a good price... I had a problem with the cleaning of my room and thanks to the manager he was very kind to me he has solved it and I changed to another room... I'm sure I'll come back 😊

    Friendly staff, very helpful. good location for getting into Barcelona via public transport. I walked approx 20 min to the train station. Buses are running from the street by the hotel. Very friendly , helpful staff. Closeness to the beach!
