    The accommodation is rustic but very homely.

    The accommodation is rustic but very homely. You have everything you need whist you stay and breakfast is a special treat with lots of local produce. What’s good is that the hosts inform you through WhatsApp so you can keep in touch with them on route and when you arrive. There was a nice welcome pack on arrival of water and fruit and nothing was too much trouble. We liked the secure parking facility on-site too.

    We stayed in the three bedroomed apartment twice in the space of a couple of weeks as an overnight stay (on the way to and from Portugal). There is plenty of space (three bedrooms, a living room, two TVs, a kitchen) and all for a price that would be less than for a hotel room. The location was just off the motorway and very easy to find. The host was very helpful and friendly.

    I could see nothing to like. The local town, Casar, is dreadful. The hotel is sold as a boutique experience but it is not luxury, as boutique implies. (It is small, though.)
