Not sure why this hotel is only 2 stars. It is very comfortable and clean. The room was well fitted and up to date. There was even a coffee maker in the room. The shower worked well which is always a bonus and the bathroom was spacious. The dining room was beautifully designed quite modern and very attractive. The food was amazing and quite unexpected in such a small town. It was the best food we have eaten in a long time and showed the chefs skills and ingenuity off so well. You would really only expect to find this standard in a big city. Try the oxtail doughnut - OMG and the cheesecake dessert - so clever!

    very little, very dusty room, basic and no room in bathroom...

    very little, very dusty room, basic and no room in bathroom for putting stuff. hardest bed we,ve had.electric went of in the room 3 times in the evening and with 30 deg. no joke. the bar closed at 9 30 and the lift as well as it is in the bar. we both suffered with back pain in the morning because of the bed so decided to cut our 3 day stay to just the one night , very disappointed as we had been looking forward to our break. the staff seemed pleasant .
