This area of Spain is just beautiful if you can travel the backroads. The landscape changes in amazing ways & it’s never boring. Spring is magnificent with the wildflowers and green. Old roman road hiking up to the castle is must do. Horse riding downhill exceeds expectations. Dinner in the castle is really enjoyable. If you measured against top London or global hotels the customer service, exceptional cuisine and room comfort would be second to non. It is built within an ancient Moorish Castle dating back to the 13th century. Sympathetically adapted with views 360o from the mountain peak, with soaring Iberian eagles .. it is breathtaking. We spent our honeymoon here on the first trip so the place is special to us. Such a beautiful place in breathtaking surroundings. My favourite bit is the view from the balcony,the best view ive ever had in a hotel or apartment. 2 nights of pure relaxation, fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook at home or beautiful restaurants a few yards away The owner is super helpful. Absolutely stunning to sleep in a castle. To look out over the mountains from your private terrace on top of a castle tower. And everything was perfect. Spacious, very comfortable room, good bed, very good breakfast with good coffee. And an excellent dinner in the nearby restaurant El Aljibe.
