The room was lovely and spacious and very comfortable. The location was in a lovely little village and it was easy to walk to some of the restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious and all the staff at the hotel were lovely and helpful, especially Oleguer who talked us into getting a car for some of our stay, which was the best advice as there was so much to explore in the area. As a person with a walking disability I found the area around the village easy to manage and I'd highly recommend it to fellow travellers.

The place has an excellent location and we are very grateful for our stay here. Everything was up to par - two separate beds, daily cleaning, clean towels and a quiet place to rest. The girl at the reception was very nice and we got a lot of support and guidance for our travels in the area. Thank you!

Our stay at this boutique hotel was truly exceptional – the staff were professional, attentive, and always welcoming. The room was very comfortable with perfect air conditioning. Breakfasts were delicious, varied, and beautifully prepared. The charming garden, full of greenery and shade, was the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or relax in the evening. Highly recommended!

    Charming medieval town, very atmospheric.

    Charming medieval town, very atmospheric. We happened to land in the middle of a festival which was an unexpected massive bonus. It was such fun! The hotel is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful and went out of his way to assist us. We were delighted with our stay. We ate well in the town- the hotel is ideally placed to walk around it.

    This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The whole hotel is so tastefully decorated and the rooms are lovely. The staff were all very very friendly. I can honestly say that I’ve stayed in 4 star hotels that don’t match this place. I ate in the restaurant which served gorgeous food at an unbelievable price. The pool is amazing and breakfast on the rooftop terrace just topped it off. The hotel is 100 years old this year and has been family owned since its doors opened. The current custodian should be proud of this place.

    Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is nicely fitted in a modern style and is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Only a short walk to the centre of Castello d'Empuries and it's maze of medieval streets. Museum is worth a visit. Only a short drive to Roses, Empuriabrava and the wonderful countryside of Alt Emporda.
