    Castellón is a very pleasant town with many small piazzas decorated with modern sculptures and plants. There is a good choice of lively bars and restaurants. We left the car in the hotel underground car park and walked everywhere. The old town is traffic free, with electric buses.

    The best thing to enjoy in the region is the Trilha Via...

    The best thing to enjoy in the region is the Trilha Via Verde Del Mar: Benicassim - Oropesa, a very popular trail for road biking, running, and walking. It was really nice in May even though they say the best times to visit the trail are July through April. Castellón de la Plana itself doesn't have a lot to offer compared to Valencia for example. A day would be plenty of time to visit.

    I know the city because I lived there for 10 years.

    I know the city because I lived there for 10 years. There are many possibilities, you can go to the mountains or the sea, in the surroundings by car, there are many places where you can dine with friends, shops, etc. Even if you don't have a car, you can use public transport. It's up to you if you want to feel good on vacation. But next time I will choose a different, warmer period.

    Castellon is a nice place to visit and stay plenty of shops and bars, there's a tram which stop's next to the bus station and takes into the centre or if you want to go to the beach it takes you there.The tram runs from the Jamie University to the Grau (beach). single fare is1euro 5 cent's and goes through the centre of the city with plenty of stop's

    The city is absolutely stunning with such a great vibe.

    The city is absolutely stunning with such a great vibe. The last day of vacation we had the dinner at an incredible Romanian bar called Angela Bar. The owner, a beautiful lady wearing the traditional Romanian clothes made our evening so special with her delicious dishes and the history of the articles around the bar. I huge recommend her wonderful place full of happiness, history and delicious food. I'm not talking about the eyes catching, delicious tostada with a fresh coffee at every single cafe/bar we had every single morning. We have had a great time and as soon the time permitting, we are planning to return. Highly recommended!

    We had a beautiful staying in this place. Newly reconditioned, everything super clean, room and bathroom too. About the host, Zayeed, we salute him by this way, he is a top host for sure! Helped us with everything that we needed. You won't regret this accomodation in Castellon, which has very good location, right in center of the city, by the way!

    It was wonderful appartment, the best in our journey in Spain. Very spacious, cosy, very clean. Comfortable coach in living room, comfy beds in bedrooms, one of the beds very wide :) Large bathroom, a lot of towels, kitchen with everything you need. Windows of bedrooms to the inner yard, so very calm, no noise from the street at night. The place itself seemed safe, not far from the center. The owner was very nice and friendly, he kept for us parking place in the street.

    We only spent one night because of a transfer, but everything was as advertised, it's a great value for the price. Staff at the reception was extremely kind and assisted us with printing out our boarding cards, since Castellón airport is not accepting mobile boarding passes at the moment. The hotel is in an easy 5-6 minute walking distance from the joint railway station and bus station where you get transfer to the airport.

    Overall goos hotel in a good location for the Castellón Grau. The city isn't exactly round the corner, and the beach neither. However located on this nice avenue with restaurants, bars etc. Rooms were clean but not well noise proof. Noise from other rooms or people walking in the corridor.
