A quiet town, with at least 3 great restaurants : Agustina,...
A quiet town, with at least 3 great restaurants : Agustina, Posada del Moro, and Meson La Bolera. Excellent locally produced food : cherry liqueur, organic olive oil, cheese, and of course the acorn-fed black pigs. Some good walks from town out into the local countryside. Cazalla de la Sierra is a beautiful town set on a hilltop. The Sierra Norte is a great area to explore walking. You must also cycle the Via Verde - you can hire bikes from a cycle shop at Constantina train station for just 10 euros per day. We came for 2 nights from Seville so brought food with us. There is a small shop at the bike rental place too. Great location near the train station and perfect to cycle the greenway, which is what we did. Bed is also very comfortable. It was quite cold when we went but fire and blankets provided. It's really rural and rustic but don't be put off by that as your hosts offer a really heartfelt welcome. OK it's not 4 star but if you like a genuine Andalusian experience then it's great. Breakfast is excellent situated in the host's house. There is no restaurant as such but the hosts will look after you.
