We loved everything. The hotel is on the hill so the rooms have incredible view. You can reach the bottom of the hill by the elevator, it’s very convenient. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The parking was convenient. Breakfast was delicious, including basque cheesecake and cava. Will definitely stay in this hotel on our next trip.

The location of this hotel is excellent. On the border of the old town in a nice area, everything you want to see is in walking distance. Valet parking is very convenient and worked well, whenever we needed our car it was waiting for us in front of the hotel. Staff is very friendly and always available. The interior design is great, from entrance, lobby, rooms, it's all perfect. The main great find was their restaurant Narru where we spend several lunches and dinners with great food and wines and very professional and friendly staff.

Check in was super customer friendly; Location was excellent right across from a beautiful park and 1.5 blocks from the old town and about 4 blocks from beautiful concha beach; room was very modern and comfortable with great A/C; bathroom was very modern and comfortable with fantastic rain drop shower. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. It was also very bright and airy. Getting to the heart of old stone was just a short walk away. We were spoilt for choice when it came to food and shops. Definitely a very convenient location. We were also provided with info and a video of how to get there.

Our room was large and comfortable, and the Hotel’s decor and facilities are modern— Spa, pool, meeting rooms. Staff were very friendly, professional and always answered with a smile. We enjoyed dinner in the Restaurant and the quality of the food and professionalism of the staff were excellent. The Hotel is not centrally located, but only a bus ride away (10 Minutes), from the CBD and Old Town. The large, secure parking garage is a bonus.

Amazing Coastline and Historical Beauty

San Sebastian is a famous beach resort in the north of Spain with picturesque coastline, vibrant nightlife and amazing Basque gastronomy.

Playa de la Concha is one of the world’s most popular city beaches, ideal for watersports lovers. Rent a surfboard on Zurriola beach or just relax on a cosy lounge chair under your umbrella.

Established as the culinary capital of Spain, San Sebastian features a variety of bars and restaurants serving delicious pintxos (Basque-style tapas), fresh seafood and fine wine. According to Spanish tradition, you should have one tapa and a wine in one bar, then move on to the next bar.

The tree-covered hill standing just across the gulf is called Urgull and offers spectacular views over the bay and city. Situated at the bottom of it, Parte Vieja is the old part of the town where you can mix with the locals and visit some of the city’s most interesting historical attractions.

    Nice lively city though very busy with tourists. Plenty of things to see and do. The San Telmo Museum is well worth a visit. Pintxos bars are obviously one of the main attractions but there are plenty of good restaurants too.

    The room was nice and had a nice bathroom, however the hotel is in a suburban area there are no bars restaurants or shops in the vicinity, the hotel facilities are ok but it is not good value for the money.

    Fabulous foodie heaven .

    Fabulous foodie heaven . The local bars are so good but worth heading to some of the top spots too . Bar Antonio for tortilla- eat it on the street and Bar Vina for Basque cheesecake - again riotous but worth the scrum

    San Sebastian is a nice place to visit with a number of areas to explore and beaches for swimming and surfing. The tapas is very good in most places, however, your host will recommend the best places for you. I recommend lunch at one of the restaurants on the beach, they are reasonably priced and have good food. Try the Sangria if they have it. It is a very difficult place to drive around and you will probably get lost more than once.

    Lovely visit to San Sebastian.

    Lovely visit to San Sebastian. We travelled here after 3 days in Bilbao. Immediately we felt a different 'feel' to the place - maybe it was the beaches that gave it a more relaxed feel. Easy city to get around. We walked everywhere. We stayed for 5 nights and with that time were able to do a day trip to neighouring towns which was lovely. However if you're stuck for time you could visit in 3 - 4 nights. We loveed both La Concha and the Surfing beach. Gros neighbourhood was lovely to stroll around with a great range of bars and restaurants. Old Town was nice too but we prefer local neighbourhoods.

    It’s perfectly located (Gros) to see all of San Sebastián but far enough away from the madness of the “Old Town”. The Gros area was a big surprise, full of great restaurants, bars and boutiques. The Hotel it’s self is beautifully designed inside and the rooms are just perfect. Continental breakfast was nice and we enjoyed sunset on the roof top bar. The staff were charming and could not do enough for you. We would highly recommend Abba and Gros when staying in San Sebastián. Thank you 🙏

    This was a very well located hotel, close to the beach and the old town. The fact that it was once a convent was evident in the reception area and bar, which provided an unusual touch. The rest of the hotel was beautifully updated. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was truly outstanding, one of the best we had during our road trip in Spain. The staff were very helpful, with some exceptions.
