I like that El Medano is not a tourist town. Although there are tourists there, they try to cater for them in a non-tourist way. We love El Medano, We usually stay in Los Christianos, however this was a very different holiday for us, everything was at hand, El Medano is very easy to get around, the local people are very welcoming. I fell in love with El Medano town.
I fell in love with El Medano town. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the smallness of the town which meant it was easy to navigate. Though small there were plenty of good restaurants and cafes. El Medano has a great atmosphere with a busy restaurant lined square with lovely winding streets with shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. It has some excellent restaurants, particularly La Gula and Naife. Both serve excellent food and wine and offer excellent value for money. It's hard to beat Playa Chicas for lunch on the terrace.
