The town has some lovely parks and tree lined avenues. Central Elche was easy to get into, the town is built on a grid system. We stayed near Placa Glorieta, a very interesting area with plenty of shops and a variety of good restaurants. Well worth a visit. A huge bath, the gardens and pool were beautiful. Yoga was available too. Comfortable bed and beautiful cotton bedding. Facilities were great and a mini bar with fair prices and a Mercadona 5 minutes away. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were accommodated in a large spacious top floor room overlooking the rooftops of Elche, complete with full length balcony. Staff was friendly and attentive. The room was very nice and clean, breakfast was excellent, and the pool was big enough for everyone to enjoy in August. The city of Elche is also a great place to visit, as the city centre is at 10 minutes walk from the hotel, and it's full of nice restaurants, bars, and shops.
