Simple, clean lodgings in a beautiful location. Our room had doors that opened up to a view over the town and the mountains. It was the perfect place to be based to hike in the nearby national park. The restaurant was also tasty and affordable. We liked it so much we added an additional night stay.

Where do I start? This place is wonderful in every respect. They have expertly crafted a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary with every detail considered. From the decor, the design, to the music being played. Everywhere you look is beautiful. Original artwork adorns the walls and there is a total atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The property is expansive and beautiful. There are many places to spend time and so many details to make you feel right at home. The food is very good and they catered very happily to my mulitple food allergies without hesitation. Every detail has been so carefully thought of. I was really impressed by the whole experience.

The peace and quiet was just what I needed. The casa is almost at the top of the village just next to the church. Its about a 5-10 minute walk down the hill to the restaurants and bars.The neighbourhood is very quiet. A few cars come and go but that's it. I did not hear any young people racing up and down the streets on motorbikes which was great.The place I am at now has many young people riding very loud motorbikes. It is very annoying. The street is wide enough So that if you do not find a parking spot, you can stop and unload your car without having to walk more than 5 m. I was lucky and normally always found a parking spot very close by. Be aware. The streets in Grazalema are very very narrow. It was a little scary sometimes because of the other cars parked on the narrow streets. Many times navigating to and from the casa I only had 1-2cm of clearance on each side of my car but my car isn't a small one. You can see right away when you go inside the house that a woman has been working on the decorations. All done with love. The house is on 2 levels. I slept in the bedroom upstairs on the double bed and that was the thickest and most comfortable mattress i've had in my three months in spain. There is no A/C but there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom upstairs with the double bed. The other bedroom has a fan on the table. The shower. And toilet are upstairs. The shower is a little bit small And has a shower curtain instead of a glass shower stall. Some people might not like the shower curtain sticking to their legs while they're taking a shower but it was no big deal for me. Downstairs on the ground floor there was another bedroom, but the door was locked so I couldn't look inside.I was in the house alone. The owner lady, who was very friendly lives very close by so if there's anything you need.She can be there with two or three minutes. The house was extremely clean. I appreciated that very much.     We were looking to get away from touring busy Madrid, Granada and Sevilla and spend some time in nature. The small village of Grazalema was perfect, in the middle of the national park where we did some hiking.

    Grazalema is not to be missed for its beauty as a 'pueblo blanco'. Distances are relatively short, so don't chose an apartment because it is near the bus stop! The place has a romantic beauty so choose a characterful place to stay!

    Grazalema is a beautiful little town that's definitely worth a visit. It also makes a great base for exploring the national park on foot. Lots of walking routes start and finish there and they're well-signposted. The town istelf is very picturesque with whitewashed houses and narrow, cobbled streets and although it's a tourist destination, it's still a working town with it's own community. There are plenty of bars and restaurants but I can highly recommend the cafe, Pasteleria Rotacapa - the cakes are delicious and the hot chocolate is amazing! Just want you need after a day's walking in the mountains. We ended up going there nearly every day!

    This is an amazing place.

    This is an amazing place. We had an extraordinary weekend with children, parents and grandparents. This white towns and the other nearby are beautiful places to visit. And hicking in the the Mountains National Park is such an experience!! Very much recommended for pure aire and safe exercising

    What a lovely place to relax!

    What a lovely place to relax! The pool was great and the breakfast was the best we had of any hotel we stayed in Spain. What a wonderful variety of foods to choose from, and everything was delicious. We had dinner there one night, and it was fabulous, too. There was a trail to hike to Grazalema which had some old Roman steps - such wonderful history around the area. And we enjoyed our terrace - always a plus!

    The apartment was really well situated for both accessing the walks of the natural park and also close to the shops and eating establishments in Grazalema. It is in a quiet location which suited us perfectly. The only thing we would have liked in addition was a full-length mirror to check ourselves out in! But not an essential item. All round we had an excellent stay.
