Guardamar is a lovely area of Costa blanca 1/2 from airport, it is quiet with very few hotels. Popular with the Spanish . It has beautiful long sandy beaches with some Chiringuitos . Lots of lovely restaurants with great food , prices are really good for food and drinks . It is very clean . In winter, Guardamar is a rather quiete place to stay in.
In winter, Guardamar is a rather quiete place to stay in. There are still enough facilities and restaurants open, but you easily feel this is a place that thrives in summertime. Weekends were rather busy, though. Guardamar is a nice place for strolls on the boulevard or palmtree avenida. Santa Pola and Torrevieja are closeby and Alicante is just 40km-ish away.
