I booked the wrong night.and didn't arrive. The hotel phoned me to ask what time I would arrive. They cancelled my booking and didn't charge me. Had a balcony My boat was delayed a day. They gave me the same room for the same price. Cafe attached to hotel selling Spanish food at usual Spanish rates

A hotel which is really worth its four stars, everything was of high quality. Spacey, clean and modern room with very comfortable bed. Wide selection of food for breakfast that one could have in the very nice garden. There is private parking lot a five minutes walk from the hotel. The two nicest beaches of Santander are only a few minutes walk.

We didn't have the breakfast, it looked very good though. The location was absolutely perfect, just behind the centre of town with all the shops and the harbour a few minutes away, but in a quiet street. The decoration was fabulous, all very design and imaginative. The reception staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

We have stayed several times. Luis and his wife are very friendly. There used to be an on site restaurant that was run separate to the hotel. That has closed and now luis's wife cooks dinner and breakfast for you. It's very good home cooking. The hotel is an old 13th century manor house set in wonderful gardens. There are a few bars and restaurants 10 mins walk down the road.

    The hotel is pleasant enough except we wished we had specified a room with a view. The first room we were put into was roadside and noisy and ugly. Fortunately when we asked, the host offered us a better room on the 3rd floor. Still with no view but with a good sized balcony that drowned out most of the road noise. There is plenty of undercover parking and a good bus service into Santander just down the road from the apartment and also several supermarkets very close by. The host herself was really lovely.

    We've stayed here a number of times, down to the proximity to the Santander ferry terminal. The hotel is just off the motorway and has good parking. In the attached cafe you can get coffee (most important) tortilla, filled rolls etc for breakfast. There are fuel stations and supermarkets nearby.

    The location was easy for the ferry. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Good parking in front of the hotel. Handy to have cafe and bar on site.

    Had two nights (Friday and Saturday) live music in the hotel restaurant which was very nice for me but might disturb others. Stopped at 11 pm.
