This is a delightful hotel in every way. The location is just perfect in the old town. The room was very clean and and the beds very comfortable. If you're lucky you can reserve a covered space directly beside the hotel. There is a beautiful courtyard next to the hotel where you can have breakfast or other meals.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Palacio Pampinot, a beautifully restored palace right in the heart of Hondarribia’s old town. The décor is elegant and carefully preserved... The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean – I slept wonderfully. The location is perfect. Overall, it’s a unique and beautifully maintained property, offering the perfect blend of character, comfort and convenience. A real gem that I would happily return to.

It's only 15-minute walk from the Donostia Airport. The town is small, so we could walk almost all of the town enjoying the town view. The hotel is totally clean, with good atmosphere and gorgeous sea view. The staff are so kind friendly. It takes only 30 minutes by bus to Donostia, so we could easily enjoy the tourism there staying in this good parador.

We loved everything: the location, panorama vista, comfortable and stylish rooms, hospitality and the best breakfast ever served in very elegant way. The owners have done exceptional work with the garden and house. The look after every quest, you feel welcomed. I have about 80 travel days per year. This place exceeded all my previous stays. We will return here, it was fantastic. We had a room for two nights, would have loved to stay more. Location is great, you are out from the village's busy life, but so close to everything. We walked 10 min down to the center. I recommend, that you book a room with view to the sea and mountains. Parking is in the permits, safe area.

    The old town is really well worth visiting- beautiful cathedral & lots of places for delicious pintxos with the very friendly locals. There is a beautiful promenade for a leisurely stroll in the evening.

    Lovely area, especially the old town and Plaza de Guipuzcoa.

    Lovely area, especially the old town and Plaza de Guipuzcoa. Great vibe on the main streets Nice beach. Good hiking paths. Food is outstanding and prices are reasonable. Inexpensive water taxi across the river to France. The Parador (a 10th century fort/castle) is amazing inside. Worth a visit evenif you're not staying there

    Super holiday spot, recommended to us and we were delighted with the experience. Much smaller than San Sebastian, but full of interesting Bars and Restaurants, super walk along the sea front. A great base from which to explore the Basque area and culture.

    This is such a magical part of the world.

    This is such a magical part of the world. Bar Gran Sol for pinxtos is a must do experience, the other pinxtos restaurants are equally fab. For an outstanding gastronomic experience head for Gastroteka Danontzat in the medieval part of town, outstanding food, wine & the vibes are real. Do not miss this one.

    Hondarribia is more intimate than its larger cousin - San Sebastian - just a short drive away. The old town as one can imagine is full of history and interesting buildings. The newer part of the town has the beach and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes. There is enough to keep a couple entertained for several days. If you want a drive over the mountains there is a twisty road to San Sebastian well worth a try. Recommended for a couple to visit - probably not great for kids unless in the summer for the beach.

    Rosa is an amazing, kind host and makes a huge effort to provide what you ask for. The house is accessible by car with good space for parking. The house is absolutely spotless. She prepares a good continental breakfast with croissants, fruit, excellent bread, and you eat that on the balcony with a view of the countryside around. From the house you can drive to Hondarribia, which is a very interesting mediaeval town, with some good restaurants down on the Main Street before you walk up to the old town. We had really good fish there.

    The property had everything one needed and if there was anything one needed the host was on hand to help out, whether it was something big or small or directions to a nice restaurant, she did bookings for us for a vet for our dogs to booking a beautiful restaurant also gave us a lift so we didn’t have to find parking in town. Parking in the centre is limited but ample parking near the beach which is only a ten minute walk back to the beautiful centre.

    Clean, standard hotel room in superb location and professional, friendly staff. Right on the doorstep of excellent plazas and restaurants and only a short stroll to the Old Town. Free parking only 10-15 minutes walk away, but you could also park at the front of the hotel for 10 minutes for free while you drop your bags off or re-load them.

    Location good in the heart of the old town, all sites in walking distance. The room was quirky with an umbrella shower curtain never seen before. Breakfast was lovely, a very good breakfast a wide selection of food and drinks. Parking for motorcycle was outside the hotel which we were charged extra for.
