Borja, Lorrena, Fernando and Diego (barman - not his real name) were fantastic staff members at Hotel Olimpo, so friendly, welcoming, helpful and fun. Food was amazing, hotel was immaculate with beautiful views. Amazing location, lovely walk across the beach to Noja. Isla is lovely with quirkly little shops and nice walks. I stayed here with my husband and teenage son and all three of us had a fabulous time and look forward to returning. Isla is a lovely place.
Isla is a lovely place. We stayed a Saturday night and it was very lively. Good vibe in and around town. Very busy but not noisy and felt very safe. Would recommend the area but not the hotel we stayed in, Hotel Astuy. We stayed here as it’s only a short drive to Santander for the ferry next dayGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The sea is lovely but usually too rough to actually swim, just enjoyl the waves.You can also bathe in the river. It is unusual to have both river and sea next to one another.
