The nearby river was like a constant and welcome lullaby at night. Liérganes' city centre is a short walk away (if not wishing to drive there), offers several sites to visit and bushwalk options around town with plenty of restaurants, and supermarkets. By car, there are many interesting destinations within 30 - 60 min drive. I really appreciated the helpful advice from the hosts and the spacious backyard. The rooms are huge and comfortable with antique furniture in keeping with the building. We had a lovely view of the garden from our double room and a kettle, which was nice.
