We enjoyed quite a few restaurants at Mar Menor and Los Alcazares. There is a huge variety on most menu's, we found portions quite large It's easy to explore Los Alcazares and would highly recommend Murcia Trike tour, a visit to Old Town, Zarcos Cocktail Bar, Sunrise and sunsets on the beach. It is a fantastic place to visit.
It is a fantastic place to visit. Friendly locals, brilliant restaurants and bars with a range of stunning food. There is the added bonus of a new and old town with something to suit all tastes. Great beaches with lovely sand. Everything is flat and easy to explore on foot. The weather was gorgeous with a nice sea breeze. Jane was a great guest (although we didnt have to talk to her much, since we had evertything we needed, but she made sure we were fine). You can leave your car right in front of the house (not a private parking lot, but plenty of available free public slots in the neighbourhood). Nice air conditioning system (will meed it for sure in Murcia in the summer). In a summary: everything was great. Would recommend it to everyone.Guest review bycarlosSpain

It was only 2 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes from the centre of the old town of Los Alcázares. This is a small town but had everything you need and a good food store in the main square and an excellant Indian restaurant. There was a small shop just across the road from the apartment that sold take away food (I didn’t use this shop but it looks nice). The air conditioning was a must as the temperature was over 43 degrees, and I could sleep as it was so quiet. In fact, I found the hotel very quiet at night, which was great. The staff were very cheerful and helpful.
