What a beautiful spot. Friendly locals and good food. Lots of history and wonderful signage about the Spanish Civil War, Retirada and Franco repression. Amazing old architecture and stunning views. Lots of well blazed hiking trails. I don’t think anyone could be disappointed in a visit to Macanet de Cabreyns. The views alone are worth it. Be sure to stop in and check out the 125 yr old Macanetenc Mutual Aid building in the town square and have a drink in this gorgeous old hall. I hope to get back someday!Guest review byBenjamin

They started out as a restaurant, and expanded into a hotel. They really understand hospitality. I stayed in eight hotels over two week, this one was easily the best.
