The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and the bed is very comfortable and it’s located right by the river where the ponds to swim are. The restaurant has local quality food at a very reasonable price

The property is even better than expected. Extremely clean and well decorated. The owner left us a very copious and delicious breakfast with amazing cherries and she was the kindest you could imagine. If you are thinking of staying in the region I would highly recommend this place. Will be back for sure!

    Madrigal has wonderful pools - most welcome after a hot walk...

    Madrigal has wonderful pools - most welcome after a hot walk on one of the many trails. Holidaying in the Gredos is about the outdoors. It’s not at all touristy. The mountains dominate over all and there are tracks aplenty, many of them in need of remarking.

    Great location right by the swimming holes of Madrigal. The camp has lovely gardens which are watered every day so everything is neat and green. We were given a lovely welcome to the chalet style wooden cottage. Everything you need was there including an Italian coffee percolator. The water pressure in the shower and the water temperature controls were better than in a four star hotel we recently stayed at. We were given advice about walking, and helped with the washing machines by friendly staff. If we were in the area we would go back.
