The owner was so kind and hospitable! Made us feel so welcomed with the little touches of care and thoughtfulness when we arrived. Eg serving us Melide’s special cheese with fresh bread, bringing in a humidifier to dry our wet shoes. The facilities were well maintained. One of the best we have come across in Camino.

We were Camino Pilgrims looking for accommodation in the area. It was a beautiful home with a full kitchen and one and a half baths. We had access to the landlady's laundry facilities and courtyard. The Host was very kind and responsive to us. There are several cafes within easy walking distance; one of them was Vegan.

The place is in puré countryside, nature around, with many silent, big rooms, a swimming pool. Good internet, clean, amazing breakfast, and the very good communication of the owner to give details and support. The staff is very kind and friendly, good parking car and very good coffee.     We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino.

    We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino. We would have wanted to stay longer, the city had many historic places and old churches, but a many were closed (we were there on a Sunday). There was a farmer's market which had many interesting artisanal food. The cafes were bustling - we only had time for churros con chocolate (where we ordered double because it was sooo good) - but there were many food places - bakeries, pastry shops, cheese, jamon, and everything in between. Would love to come back and spend more time in this beautiful city. The city was bounded by mini forests which was a joy to traverse, with the trail dotted by chestnuts.

    While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide.

    While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide. We loved the food especially the octopus at Garnacha. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting St. Anthony Chapel. There are many stores should you need to pickup supplies on your Camino route.

    We loved the warm and personal relationship with those who looked after our needs including driving us to the bus stop so that could make our onward journey The room it’s self was at the top end of our experience of hotels the breakfast was wonderful Put simply a wonderful experience go it is great

    Very kind reception. Comfortable beds in small rooms with bed curtains for privacy and bedlights. Gluten free options available for breakfast. Very central location in Melide. They accomodated my request of a lower bunk bed and were very available with helping me with that.

    Check in is at the Lux Melide. The Pension is in a different building. I was on the fifth floor so had a great view. The room was clean and comfortable. I was in the town for market day which was a lot of fun!

    This albergue is just awesome, the owners are so sweet. The beds are comfortable and the whole place is very clean. breakfast included (fresh orange juice, himemade bread, homemade cake). Perfect stay in Melide.
