Thank you, Ivan and team. What a perfect, relaxing getaway I had at Hotel Rural el Refugio! Everything was perfect, the suite room was huge and had everything I needed to relax, Cook, make coffee which we provided etc. Heater was great for cozy evenings. There was a lovely terrace outside my room where I enjoyed coffee every morning. The hotel is so tranquil, the pool was beautiful and so peaceful. You are literally right on 2 hiking trails so no need to travel to the trails. I hiked everyday to watch the sunset not far from the hotel. The views are spectacular! The best part about my stay was the outstanding hospitality from Ivan and his staff. I felt so welcome and it really was the highlight of my time in gran canaria. Thank you!!!

Totally perfect view! Peaceful and quiet place and had a very friendly service and smiling staff. Room was quite small, but that was well informed at first place. Strong recommendation especially for backpackers, there are lots of different paths around Juncalillo :)

I loved the feeling immediately home, Riccarda is such a heartful person. She is reallya giver and makes you feel good after you arrive. The place it's in a very nice village, with a good hiking option in a kinda jungle vibe forest. The yoga in the morning was a great start of the day and in the end Riccarda was also making some amazing empanadas for free and we had a lovely dinner with the other guests. Unfortunately I could stay just 2 nights, but I will defo come back to meet Riccarda.

Debbie & Carl are one of the main reasons why we will miss Gran Canaria. 😊 Our stay at Casa Azul was amazing and Debbie & Carl couldn't do enough for us to make us feel at home. At their place you have it all: a beautiful view, tranquility, lovely hosts, the sweetest dog and a great apartment equipped with anything you could possibly need. The room was perfectly clean, stylishly furnished and had a lovely view. Also, there was a beautiful garden with a terrace where we had both breakfast and a three course dinner, which was possible to add to our stay for only 15 euros. All the food was delicious and prepared mostly from ingredients grown in the garden. The host Miguel was very friendly, so we felt welcomed and spoiled :) He also provided us with many useful tips about what to visit in Gran Canaria.

We loved everything. Alicia was a very nice host. The apartment has everything we could want and more. Located in the center of Tejeda. The complimentary fresh bread, cheese and marmelade were very much appreciated. The restaurant recommendation was very good as well.
