We loved the original stone work, the structure, and the history of this 17th century family farm conversion. One of the guest rooms has the original stone kitchen countertop as a feature. The breakfast is farm fresh from their own cows. The milk, the butter, and the incredible cream cheese is straight from farm to table. The cafe con leche is delicious! The owners are beyond welcoming, friendly, and full of historical information about the house. The walls are as thick as a castle and you wonder as you sleep in your room under chestnut wood beams at night how they were able raise them so high by hand without machinery so long ago. Our young son loved it here and we cannot wait to come back and visit again.

I have rarely experienced such a high level of hospitality, with a full breakfast served every morning, clean rooms, a fire made in the evening and every need attended to. It is close to the beautiful Eume river valley and the view from the casa is incredible.

A terrific country stone house set in beautiful green countryside a short drive from Miño. The room was very well equipped and the beds very comfortable. I have not slept as well as I did there for weeks - the tranquility of the countryside and able to hear bird song and actually see stars at night. Best of all was the host Elena who is delightful and very welcoming and helpful. She made a good stay a great stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Beatiful location. Surrounded by nature. Great place to unwind from the city. Great host that makes you feel very welcome. Delicious breakfast, much of which made with home grown, good quality products a some made in house. Definately a place to go back to.

The continental breakfast is a feast each morning! Don't stay here without taking it as it is worth it! Staff is friendly and host Alberto speaks terrific English and has great tips on where to go and particularly where not to. Rooms are spacious. The main house and garden are having a rural romantic decor as per the pictures.

The house is spacious, well equipped, and its ex-libris are the terrace with a beautiful view, which can be accessed through one of the bedrooms, and the big garden. The location is great for hiking (it lays on the GR 55 route), in particular down to the river Eume and on the slopes that border it. There are also beautiful "rutas" to viewpoints, etc. on the road past Pila da Leña (20 min. drive). Dogs are allowed and can freely wander around in the fully enclosed garden. The friendly owner welcomed us and gave us good tips to visit the region and places to do our shopping nearby, instead of going to the bigger supermarkets in Pontedeume (20 min. drive).
