There is not much to hold the traveller in this town. It is a spainish working town, surrounded by olives and vines, but not many shops or attractions, unless you like to explore rural Spain.surpringlsy the guide stated it has two theatres, 10 restaurants and 5 hotels, but on a short weekend visit we were not able to find any open! Indeed all the locals seem to be in the hotel where we were staying! but it’s a handy stop off from The Santander ferry port to the Costas.

The accommodation has served its purpose. I was travelling from south to north and it was somewhere half way of my destination so the location was great.
The restaurant within the hotel was nice.
The parking garage was good and locked during the night.
The room was very clean.

Very pretty hotel, (not the easiest to find - there are a couple of roads closed in the town centre). Room not huge, but perfectly adequate - nice bathroom. Excellent dinner and good breakfast. Host very friendly, though limited English. We would certainly stay again.
