Absolutely brilliant location that is off the beaten track to immerse ourselves in the mountains, totally away from lights and noise except for the gentle jingling of the cow/sheep/goat bells........bliss. We did get worried when we had about 10 consecutive 'blast' (like quarry mines) echoing and vibrating at near midnight. Turns out this is to do with the village festive. We went along the next day. Most interesting and took great photos. Nice walk around the hotel amongst the chestnut forrest and to the village.

Magica says it all! It’s just got to be one of the most stunning hotel locations I’ve stayed at. That’s not all the hotel itself is beautiful too, with lovely quaint rooms. Ours was a junior suite (G) nice and spacious with huge bath too relax in after long humid walks! The staff are extremely friendly and will go out of the way to make your stay as perfect as possible. The food menu is quite limited in choice that changes every evening. The four evening meals we had were exceptionally delicious and I mean 10/10 tasty! The serving staff were always charming and made us feel very welcome. To me it was really obvious the staff were extremely happy to be working at this very lovely place. If you have happy staff then you definitely on your way to a perfect hotel. For us it was just that, Perfect!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was with attention prepared and has a lot of variation. I especially like the home made jams and cakes. The host is very welcoming. Location is quite compared to the nearby Cangas de Onis center, which is very touristic. There is enough parking place outside, which is also a plus point. In a word, good value for the price.

I had a wonderful stay! The location is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The hotel is very cozy and has a lot of character with a beautiful garden. The room was lovely, good bed, very nice view and was very clean, I couldn’t wish for more. Patricia and Maria were such lovely people. Despite me not speaking a word of Spanish, we had our conversations via Google translate and it worked perfect (next time I will learn a little bit more Spanish ;) I couldn’t recommend this beautiful hotel more!

In a world where you pay the car park with an app and deal with the airline claim via a chat…you come to this hotel to feel human again… The customer service provided by Javier, José Antonio and their team goes beyond expectations, they literally look after you during the whole stay. They also recommend places to go locally, with an excellent knowledge of the area. Local beaches are a 15 minute drive, also Poncejos (Cares trail) and Arriondas (descent of Sella river) are about 40 minutes away. The hotel is located in a beautiful place, surrounded by mountains, and with the only noise of a river flow nearby. Breakfast is generous and healthy. Plenty of free car park. Wifi signal is good. I did really enjoy the tranquility of this hotel and the local walks. Definitely a place to come back again.

    The hotel was located in a marvelous part of Asturias, the drive there was a joy. The premises of the hotel were very nice and well maintained, the building itself was just fantastic, and the rooms were very spacious and clean. We particularly enjoyed how family friendly this hotel was, and how everything that we needed was just there. We had a great time in the lovely spa, and the breakfast was just superb! Highly recommend this place.

    The location is perfect to explore all the different spots in Asturias. You are half way to Cangas de Onís and Arenas de Cabrales. The hotel has a private parking which allows you to arrive at any time without having to worry. I'd definatively recommend to a friend/ relative.

    Friendly and helpful staff. Parking available. We didn't take breakfast included, but the cafeteira downstairs had good options and tasty omelet. Nice restaurants in the area even in off season. Kitchen well equipped especially for a hotel.

    Beautiful hotel with an excellent Spa and location was perfect. Garage and parking spaces available if you are driving. Excellent collection of old motorcycles and old car on display in hotel.
