    As per my apartment comment, the cohetes (extremely loud...

    As per my apartment comment, the cohetes (extremely loud banger fireworks) are horrendous for the unsuspecting tourist. Make you jump out your skin, they are so loud & they start and stop all evening until late. Pretty much ruins the evening - you can’t have a conversation & you keep getting a fright every time they sporadically start up. My understanding is they were originally for festivals , which would be fine, but now apparently, any excuse and off they go. Perhaps the town does not want or need tourists, in which case fine happy with that approach to limit their stay, I would not stay more than one night.

    A sad derelict town, many premises closed up.

    A sad derelict town, many premises closed up. Obviously it has been a thriving town once but now neglected and rundown. We had a snack in a rather dirty cafè. One point to bear in mind is that everything is closed between 2.00 and 5.00 p.m. Òrgiva is rather hilly with some very steep streets so not advised for elderly or disabled people. I will not be returning.

    Órgiva is a nice town in the mountains, but sadly I think it has in some ways seen better days. There are a lot of closed business, although there are still a few shops, and there is a sufficient number of bars and restaurants.

    A place to avoid.

    A place to avoid. Not much charm and way too many British hippies, who instead of adding to a unique and interesting vibe, seem to fuel a proliferation of expensive touristy and inauthentic restaurant experiences.

    My stay at this rural complex was wonderful! The apparemment was identical to photos, simple, calm, clean, and cozy. It's near to the bus station .. near to supermarkets. Claudio was so nice, very helpful. He suggested good places to visit in Orgiva, and he was all the time reachable by phone. I skipped my bus at night coming from Granada, and Claudio helped me by sending a taxi from Orgiva, and the price was 50% of what they've proposed in Granada 🙏

    The breakfast was absolutely amazing as were the rooms would recommend this place we will be back. The staff went out of their way to be help especially the lovely Ukrainian lady who got up early to make a breakfast for us when we had to leave really early before the canteen was open. This is a delightful, clean paradise easily the best place in Orgiva to stay.

    Amazing family stay at El Nido in July. The host and Selo couldn't do enough to help us during our stay. The holiday cottage was great and had all we needed. The pool was massive and the garden was a lovely area to relax in the hammock. Only a 10/15 minute walk to the centre of Orgiva.

    I was very clean and comfortable. The added bedcover in the cupboard was good as it was a bit cold. Added bonus of a restaurante in the hotel and I loved the food. The staff were very friendly.

    This is a wonderful house in the centre of the town. It's very well equipped and it was the perfect base from which to explore Orgiva and the surrounding area. Very welcoming host too.
