This hostal was a budget option for me as it just happened to be in a good location for my position on the Camino de Santiago when I planned my route, however, although small and fairly basic, the staff, room, facilities and food all exceeded my expectations! It really was a complete gem after a tough day's walking! The manager was helpful and friendly and his comical nature made me smile! :) My room was simple but very clean and comfortable and for the price I paid, including breakfast, it was incredible value for money! The breakfast was one of the best I had on my trip and it was really nice that they included items like the Corbata pastries that are made in the neighbouring village of Unquera as well as loads of other pastries, cereals, toast, cold meats and cheese, tea, coffee and orange juice. Pesues where the hostal is located is very small, without too much else around, so it was great that there was a restaurant in the hostal where I paid seperately for a 3 course 'Menu del Dia' with water, bread and wine. The food was delicious.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. We arrived early and they were very helpful in getting our room ready for us before checkin. The location is excellent, 5 minute stroll to the beach. They offer parking which you really need when busy as there are cars and camper vans parked in all public spaces. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Its a beautiful walk over the bridge into the old town of San Vincente de le Baquera. Room was lovely and spacious for a family of 4. Good value for money on a very busy weekend.

right on the camino which we were walking and a great alternative to Colombres where we couldn't get accommodation. beautiful well kept old style country house, lovely host, beautiful garden where we had drinks and dinner (provided ourselves) clothes washing facilities and drying line super quiet for an early night breakfast was offered and sounded great but we had to leave before it was served

    Pesues itself is very small and not particularly picturesque...

    Pesues itself is very small and not particularly picturesque as it is on the edge of a main road. For me it was just an overnight stop on the Camino de Santiago, but it is also close to other places in the Picos de Europa. The accommodation on the other hand far exceeded my expectations with such a friendly welcome! :)
