Nice long beach.
Nice long beach. Had many restaurants and bars in the immediate area, however wasn't noisy. That being, our stay was at the end of the season (end of September). Weather still nice. Recommend the kebab restaurant ( Turkish). Think it was called Andula, or similar. Would not recommend La bodeguita del medio restaurant, which is a couple of doors down from the kebab place. Food sent back twice as cold and terrible service. If you have a car, I'd recommend a trip to Garrucha, 10 mins drive south and also Mojacar. If you have young children/ grandchildren, I recommend you continue south through Mojacar to a small resort. There is an ice cream place there which they will love. It's called gelateria italiana Alberto. Back in Vera playa there are some beach bars. We had nice cocktails at Capri sea club. We stayed at the naturist end of the beach but the beach...
We stayed at the naturist end of the beach but the beach goes on for miles heading down to Garrucha. The beaches were wide, clean and had beach bars dotted along at regular intervals. We enjoyed a couple of meals at Pomodoro, a lovely restaurant right on the beach but it was closing for the season on 10th September We can highly recommend their pizzas and the seafood spaghetti. On our last night (13th) we went to go out to dinner only to find that nearly all of the local restaurants had closed for the season. Had we not been on the Sangria for most of the afternoon we could have driven down to Peurto Rey but that wasn't an option. Luckily the supermarket was open until 9.30pm so we grabbed something to heat up in the apartment.Guest review byLinda
