We were looking for a quiet, restful place to relax in the midst of a very long and stressful journey. Even if it was only one night, we felt rewarded by the stunning nature and landscapes around the property. This place is full of magic. The Senglar Hotel...across four nights..provided one of the most etraordinary lodging experiences of my life. Everything about this place is just spot-on, highly functional, and designed for the ease of a traveler. I occupied the Hotel as a base for cycling, and it was exceptional in that regard. There was secure storage for the bike and a refrigerator...even a water hose for cleaning the bike. In every possible way, the owners seem to anticipate the needs of their customers. It is so seamless, and such a warm environment. The rooms are spacious with private terraces overlooking the private garden area. Nights are supremely quiet. Right around the corner is the municipal pool. Montblanc is 15 mins by auto but this location has greater ease and convenience and plenty of great cafes and restaurants...and bakeries. Parking is free and directly in front of the Hotel. The Hotel even did my laundry for me. For quality of facilities, the warm and generosity of the owners, and location...the Hotel is beyond a 10 rating. If I could make it happen, I would come for a week every summer. I have great appreciation for the owners, how they operate the Hotel, and the whole environment they create for their guests.

    we loved this property. we visited Poblet in November, so it is off season, and cooler. We loved the fact that it was quiet, short distance from everything you needed and it has a beautiful traditional character. The owner is very welcoming and it was easy to book and organise. Gardens, play kids area, everything about this property was wonderful.

    A very special place with a clean vibe. Restful but maybe because there few guests at the hotel. I understand high season is in the autumn. Everything was beautifully maintained, chic and humble, all in good taste. Peaceful. Breakfast was simple but good. Dinner had nice vegetarian options. All in all, a lovely surprise of a place.

    Designed in 2010 by Spanish architect Mariano Bayón, the Poblet Monastery Guesthouse surprises with high quality facilities and interesting architectural spaces. High standard local produce in the breakfast buffet. Well-informed and kind staff suggested additional attractions around Poblet.

    The location is stunning,the hotel blows your mind,inside and out!. Lady on the reception desk was brilliant.. Room on split level,but seems to be a theme with most of French hotels we have used and that’s cleaning and maintenance need training..

    Hostatgeria de Poblet is a stunning and peaceful retreat with incredible scenery and a rich historical atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent—fresh and varied. Staff was very informative and nice.
