The compact room was spotlessly clean and handily located alongside a lively bar where we were able to secure an evening meal. The town itself is ideally situated for exploring the area - renowned for its 'rock churches', ancient burial sites, unspoilt nature and wildlife - as well as visiting the nearby Observatory.

Nice guesthouse in a quiet village, in a good location to explore a very beautiful part of cantabria. Nice breakfast and evening food available if you book the day before(the food was excellent). The hosts Rosalia and Carlos were really great. We had vehicle trouble and they went out of their way to make sure we were able to get back to catch our ferry, even offering to drive us to Santander. I really can’t thank them enough.

Beautiful casa tucked away in the mountains, overlooking a stunning valley. The nearby village has a supermarket and a restaurant, making everything you need easily accessible. If you're seeking quiet tranquility and breathtaking views, this place is an ideal oasis. We originally planned to stay just one night but ended up extending our stay ... it was so peaceful, restful, and beautiful. We picked up excellent local produce from the village supermarket, sipped Portuguese wine, and ate like kings in the mountains. A hidden gem we’re so glad we found!
