    A great place as a base for a Tenerife tour if you want to stay in one place. If your visit extends for more than 4 days it might be more interesting to move closer to your sightseeing points (example: 3 nights in Santa Cruz, 3 in Puerto de la Cruz, 3 in Playa del Duque - that's what I would have done if I knew how much time I'd spend driving).

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island.

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island. It has that wonderfully built Lago Martináez, where you could swim, whatever high waves were on the ocean. The seaside promenade is beautiful, full of stores and restaurants. It is easy to get around. Also very good place for shopping is the Martiánez Shopping Centre, which is very close to the hotel and has good quality clothes and food in Mercadona.

    Temperature was just right for me in July not too hot with a cool breeze. Lots to see and do great places to eat, I recommend Brunelli's Steakhouse for the most magnificent views and great food. Also a small Italian Cucci for pasta and pork dishes were excellent. Not many English mostly Spanish out enjoying themselves. A must go to bar is Hawa Rooftop Bar, on the promenade modern hotel the Silken Saaj Maar. Free to go to for non residents after 18:00 just press the buzzer in the vestibule by the glass doors and ask to go to the bar get in the lift and floor 6. I was advised to rent a car and it was definitely the correct decision transfers are expensive and it's just over an hour drive from the airport on great roads.

    I liked the shopping centre, the quirky tourist shops and the restaurants were great. A walk along the front was lovely and took us to the fishing beach and onto a large play area for kids. This had a few restaurants around also. Its a great area to stay as a stop-off for a trip to Loro Parque

    If you are looking for a peaceful, civilised resort, then...

    If you are looking for a peaceful, civilised resort, then this is the place. The walk from Playa Martinez to Playa Castillo is lovely. There are enough attractions to occupy your time and if you want to go further afield , then good frequent public transport is available. A visit to the Botanic Gardens and La Orotava are musts.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel!

    We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic - very convenient, with breathtaking view of the ocean. The hotel itself offers great facilities, including a gym, which is super important for us. The grounds are beautiful, the breakfasts were excellent. We’d definitely love to come back! If there’s anything that could be improved, we’d suggest updating the room interiors a bit. And fixing the Wi-Fi! Spanish sim-cards doesn't work well inside.

    Clean room and good internet and friendly staff but that's the end of good. The room was cold with no ac . I had to purchase a heater to keep warm.(However, its was January and the coldest Tenerife North has been for several years). Only one portable heater at the hotel which I forgo for use by an elderly couple. Th Breakfast was basic with the hot breakfast cold). first day no hot breakfast as the cooking facilities has failed , however , fixed by next day , these things do happen. Did not try the cereals etc but looked ok.

    Firstly, the cleanliness of our room was impeccable, and the mesmerizing ocean view, which is a feature of almost all rooms, made our stay truly memorable. The breathtaking view, especially from the 14th floor, contributed significantly to our overall enjoyment. The breakfast served at the hotel was varied and pleasing, offering a good start to our days of exploring Tenerife. The hotel's pool area is another highlight, boasting a great design and offering a fantastic area for relaxation.

    The location is great, a few minutes walk to the old town area and a 5-min walk from the bus station. The room was clean and I’d love to know what detergent they use as the sheets & towels smelled amazing! Breakfast was good and the pools on the terrace are awesome with stunning views. The room had a kettle with coffee & tea which is rare nowadays in similar hotels in Tenerife. Overall great value for money but a few areas to improve.

    Very clean apartment. Everthing was great. Grocery shop on the other side of the streets, nice view, many restaurants nearby. There is free public parking 200 meters from the apartment so we had no problem finding parking space. I would recomend this room to everyone looking for a place to rest after visiting wonders of Tenerife. I especially recomend it if youre renting a car.

    Great hotel in Puerto de la cruz, Tenerife The rooms are very comfortable, the stuff is so nice and welcoming. There are 3 swimming pools, one of them is acclimated. It is a bit far from the center (15 min walking). Perfect place to stay for vacation
