Lovely decor, clean sleek lines , spacious rooms with great bathrooms, lovely balcony and all really well maintained. We were there mid December and never a problem for beds at the pool or never queues at the buffet. Breakfast buffet was fabulous and ran until 11am which was great, especially if you wanted to get in a yoga or Pilates class before breakfast. One of our main criteria in booking were the spa and fitness classes all included and it didn’t disappoint. There were 3 classes each morning running from 9am - yoga, aerial yoga or Pilates first two session then followed by aqua fit in the pool and then usually stretching/ yoga options also late afternoon - all really well run and never overcrowded- although with only 6 places for aerial yoga it was sometimes oversubscribed , but never an issue as you could follow similar poses on the ground 😉. Spa consisted of a small sauna and steam room - not the biggest but again we were mostly the only ones there. Jacuzzi and bubble beds were located outside and were a bitty chilly due to the time of year. Staff were lovely and always helpful. All in all a fabulous hotel, we would go back !

Absolutely fabulous hotel, staff cannot do enough for you and the facilities are stunning. Rooms are huge and have everything you could possibly need including luxury toiletries, mini bar, two tv's and bluetooth speakers. Only a short walk or taxi journey to the seafront so in an ideal location.

An excellent place. We had a family suite with two bedrooms and a living room. A wonderful hotel for a peaceful family vacation. Great staff. The food was excellent — diverse and very tasty. Room cleaning was impeccable. Large grounds with four pools. There is a separate adult-only zone and pool. Several restaurants on the hotel grounds and nearby, just a 5-10 minute walk away. A great place for seaside walks. Bike and scooter rentals are available. We really enjoyed everything and will definitely come back again!

    You must visit la carmencita del puerto restaurant in matagorda, wonderful place, delicious food unlike anything else on the island. The oasis cocktail and tapas bar on the seafront in Matagorda is also delightful. Tasty high quality tapas and amazing cocktails. Just a 5 minute taxi ride from the main strip. La Capri pizza restaurant in puerto del carmen is also lovely. The pasta dishes are varied and authentic and the pizza is excellent.

    Personally puerto del carmen isn’t for me as there are many more places to stay which are less touristy. If you are looking for lively, busy location not far from the airport this is a great location.

    Lanzarote was very laid back, lovely atmosphere , great coastal walks around by the cliffs from Puerto del Carmen to Puerto Calero. Plenty of choices of fabulous restaurants ,The choice and quality of food was fantastic and I found great value for money

    Excellent holiday resort, loads of beautiful restaurants that offer great value for money. Lovely accommodations. However, extremely difficult to get accommodation unless you go up one of the many steep hills.

    The strip is a bit like Southend on steroids for bars and restaurants. Service has always been good in any place we have been in El Kiosk is a must for cheap drinks and people watching, seats are limited though, there are plenty of other little bars too, so don't just frequent the one Overall feels very safe and generally very clean. The experience changes from one end of the "strip" to the other. Airport end bit quieter, in the middle bit more noisy, middle to Mercodona bit nosier and hectic, Harbour end and the atmosphere becomes quieter again.

    Great hotel, great location and spotlessly clean. There is easy access to beaches, restaurants, a good supermarket and the bus stop is 100metres away We booked last minute for one week and so glad we did. Our two bedroom bungalow was well furnished with everything we needed, including a lovely see view. We have been to Lanzarote many times over the past twenty five years, but have never stayed at Illunion Costa Sal....would we use it again, yes definitely .

    We stayed in Lanzarote with our two children and were very pleased with the apartments. The location is simply wonderful — right by the sea. All the shops, the promenade, and restaurants are within walking distance, which is very convenient. We especially liked that the apartments are completely new. New crockery, everything is clean and tidy, no dirt. The apartments have everything you need for living. We recommend it for family holidays!

    CIH apartments were by far the best we have stayed in Lanzarote. The location was fabulous, near the beach, very nice restaurants and bars and of course the wonderful beach. Puerto del Carmen was either a reasonable walk or a quick bus ride away. We loved the sea view and although the airport was in the distance it was very quiet. Almost residential. We were so impressed that we will revisit again.

    Staff at the hotel were brilliant, the all inclusive drinks were not watered down like most all inclusive hotels, in fact they were probably a bit too strong if anything, food was good and you could easily make a meal out of what was provided, location was great most apartments had a sea view, ours was restricted but we asked for a ground floor room which we got.

    Everything was excelent, the location of the hotel was perfect for us being so close to the airport. The staff is kind and helpfull. If we go back to Lanzarote we will stay at the hotel again.
