Wow! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere in world, fantastic, beautiful grounds, rooms were exceptional, clean and comfortable, not to mention huge. Staff so professional and helpful, food lovely, breakfast delicious, the cakes wow! Swimming pool was fun and refreshing after a long motorcycle ride, loved it

We were so impressed by our stay here! The staff were wonderful, unfailingly helpful and so friendly. Our room was extremely comfortable, everything spotlessly clean (shower was amazing!). Breakfast was excellent. We brought our car, (there's free off-street parking). Ramales itself is a great spot for hikers, close to caves, rock-climbing and hiking trails, but an hour's drive to Bilbao and Santander for day-trips, 15 minutes to the beaches of Laredo. The surrounding area is beautiful. Highly recommend!

    From the initial welcome, this hotel is faultless. It has two accommodation options. Both of which are connected to a fantastic restaurant, pool, and offer amazing views. The room I had in Rustica (Casaviega), with a balcony, was faultless and very, very comfortable. This is an amazing rural hotel in an amazing location with amazing staff and food. I have added this hotel to a list of exceptional hotels I'll visit again. Thank you.

    The hotel was beautiful and set on a hill with fabulous views from the patio. The staff were most helpful and friendly, and the food was superb. Breakfast was included and was also very good. We would definitely stay here again if our touring takes us this way

    This was one of our favourite stays during our two week trip in to France and Spain. What a gem. A very, very nice little hotel in a small quiet village, with extremely friendly staff, lovely and clean and a pool to cool down in. The meals were great too.

    Great hotel room; quiet, very clean and very good beds. La Posada de Ojebar is situated in a very small village with superb views on the mountians and (at some places and with bright weather) a stunning view on the coastal line of Cantabria.
