A Hidden Gem in Roquetes – La Casa del Canal From the moment we arrived, La Casa del Canal felt like a dream retreat. The house itself is a masterpiece—beautifully restored with impeccable taste, blending traditional charm with modern comfort. Every corner invites relaxation, with cosy nooks and sunlit spaces that make you feel instantly at home. The breakfast from the local artisan patisserie was a highlight: fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. It was the perfect way to start each day and the convenience of requesting it made mornings feel indulgent and easy. And then there’s Marisín—the heart of the experience. Warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely; she made sure everything was perfect. Her hospitality added a personal touch that elevated our stay from great to unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that combines style, comfort and heartfelt service, La Casa del Canal is it. Can’t wait to return!

It is a modernist house with plenty of details and very well preserved. The rooms were amazing and the garden with the swimmingpool incredible. The staff was very kind and helped with everything we needed. I highly recommend it!

What a superb parador! A great heritage structure that's been meticulously, lovingly restored. High standards of everything: linens, products, service. The restaurant is wonderful, the menu traditional and brilliantly executed, as is the table service. Very impressed at this first Spanish parador stay. It speaks highly of the paradors in general, and makes us want to visit more of them ...

Very nice pool, large family suite, they clean frequently, staff very friendly. They had the dishwashing kits ready in the kitchen. Very well organized. Good services for cyclists, which we did not use though.
