It's set in beautiful gardens and is quiet and tranquil. The rooms are a very good size and the beds really comfortable. There's a terrace overlooking the gardens where you can have a pre-dinner drink. There is a varied menu of excellent local produce and the wine is delicious! Breakfast was excellent and the additional evening meal was very special by candlelight in the square in front of the hotel. The town is very rural and quite old and worth a wander.
