The apartment decor is stunning. The old building is lovely with a dramatic entry. Niches in the stone walls filled with sculptures line the staircase. Inside the apartment, the walls are creatively painted all the way up to the very high ceiling—maybe 15 feet? Tiled floors were nice. Huge sofa was very comfortable. A small balcony with table and chairs has a view over the old square out front. The historical museum is just opposite. The king size bed was super comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. With a fridge, microwave and kettle, the kitchen has all the basics. Not for cooking a whole meal but great for making breakfast. Perfect location to explore the historic area but also a very short walk to the "new" part of town, grocery stores, etc.

What a lovely welcome we received! We felt immediately at home. Little touches in the room like a few sweeties, a kettle and fridge plus water and coffee. Caring hostess who went out of her way to help and advise us….and all with little English and us with no Spanish!

We absolutely loved our time here. The location is perfect if you want a relaxing and quiet holiday and is only a few minutes away from the beach and a forty minute drive to Valencia. The hosts Maribel and dani, are the most lovely people. They showed us around the house and garden and had the house equipped with anything you could think of including linen, some food and drink items, mosquito repellant, toys for the children and pool accessories. The list could go on. The house was spotlessly clean and smelt very nice too. The garden is beautiful and the pool well maintained. The pool isn't heated so was a little chilly when first getting in but we did visit in October and once you are in it is absolutely fine. Maribel, provided guidelines leaflet explaining where the nearest amenities are, how to use outdoor lights and sun canopies and included two beautiful excursions to a thermal spring and fantastic waterfalls. She was also available if we needed anything. We will definitely be visiting again. I have already looked but my preferred dates are taken so that makes me sad.

    Sagunto is nice. A very long beach.

    Sagunto is nice. A very long beach. Sea wasn’t as clean as we like but it was warm. BUT it’s a long way from the airport: £75 taxi fare to factor in to your costs. Also a 35 minute drive to Valencia. No local bus or rail service. So, hire a car.

    Great hilltop fortress, judería; small town, easy to see in a day, quiet close to Valencia (about an hour away via inexpensive commuter train). Somewhat similar to Xàtiva (hilltop castle, 1 hour from Valencia by commuter train…)—Xátiva is a larger, nicer town and castle better preserved!

    Stayed here for 3 days over Christmas - 24th to 27th Dec 23 - and it is a fantastic location. The weather was superb and the long sandy beach was almost deserted. The hotel was very Christmassy and we had the special Christmas lunch on the big day itself. The reception staff were very helpful - particularly Monica who lent me a phone charger - and Reuben who served us on Christmas Day. Just one grumpy waitress at breakfast on 26th - see below.

    The rooms are spacious and clean. A little older and not fancy. There is a direct USB plug in to charge phones. Lots of food choices close. A great place to stay if you are on a budget. Very close to the Buses and the train station. Be aware that Taxi service is not easy to get in Sagunto. The hotel has a very easy to use automated check in and check out.

    The location to the medieval area and a break away from the city centre. The town of Sagunto is a hidden gem. The apartment is walking distance to very quaint restaurants, including Michellin Starred, great Museums, the Sagunto castle ruins, supermarkets and deli's. I liked everything about this place. One of the most exotic beaches in Sagunto Valencia.

    One of the best places I've stayed. The host is really welcoming, kind and helpful. She gave us some good tips on where to go and where to eat. The breakfast was very tasty and everything was extremely clean. I absolutely recommend it if you're going to Sagunto.
