    Salas has a lot of potential as a town.

    Salas has a lot of potential as a town. It´s got a river that goes through it and very lovely people. It even has great connections with the SANTIAGO CAMINO. I guess it could improve on accessibility as it isn´t the easiest to get to if you have no car due to limited bus schedules.

    Although there were a couple of cafe bars very close by...

    Although there were a couple of cafe bars very close by there was absolutely no noise late at night, it was very quiet and we slept well. Salas is a good, clean small town with a sufficient amount of shops to supply you with your basic requirements whilst on holiday. If we had the opportunity to stay longer than one night I'm sure we would have found out that there were many more shops and facilities available. We liked Salas and the shop keepers and people in general were very friendly. We would love to go again for a longer visit.

    The hotel messed up my check-in so, because there were no staff available to greet me, I was forced to wait for a long time in the lobby until a receptionist came to the hotel. The restaurant didn't open until 8.30 pm for dinner, although I had been told that it would open at 8.00. At breakfast, there was almost no food left when I entered the buffet room, five minutes after it opened.

    Everything was perfect! Bed was very comfortable with clean cotton bed sheet! very good breakfast included in the price. And Sandra, the Hostelera, is one of the best person I meet in a long time: willing to help in everything, sweet and smiling! In one word: an angel! Book here your stay in Salas!!!

    Casa Sueno is beautiful small boutique hotel. The most amazing bed and bed linen I slept in along the Camino - thank you! Great room, beautiful dining area and Valentina and Violetta were great! Really enjoyed this place. highly recommended.
