The hotel was exceptional and Ana and her team outstanding. Ana contacted me on whats app and we communicated on my arrival time and what I even wanted for breakfast which she exceeded my expectation on. `I have since my stay recommended this hotel to several people. it had amazing views, was a newish hotel with lovely rooms and access to a lounge and swimming pool. The staff couldn't do enough for us.

Every detail, every corner was furnished with care and love. You could feel that Lar de Vies is not just a rural complex, but an experience on their own. Nacho, the place's owner, is just the type of host every guest would wish. Kind, helpful, respectful and always wary in case something happens. Our stay at Lar de Vies was simply outstanding. This is a tiny village up in the mountains. It is a place to relax, connect with nature and enjoy the peace and quiet. That said it is only a short distance with easy access to Asturias gems including the cathedral beach and displays of local artisans skills. I went to take photographs and wasn’t disappointed, landscape, wildlife, woodland, it is all there. As for the hosts, nothing is too much. You arrive a stranger and leave a friend as they say, the local cuisine is exceptional in their restaurant overlooking the valley. In short this is an experience you won’t forget. Loved it

The house is wonderful, lovingly converted into a real family holiday home full of character and quirkiness.
