The town of Sineu is small but absolutely stunning, the architecture and narrow streets were extremely picturesque. For such a small town, there was a good selection of traditional Mallorcan restaurants to choose from, all serving excellent food at very reasonable prices. When we stayed, the town was getting ready for their annual fiesta, but the rest of the time it was really quiet and chilled. The market held every Wednesday was excellent and made the town come to life. The only downside is the location. Being in the centre of the island, getting home from an evening somewhere on the coast can be tricky. Therefore we had to ensure we were back before the last train which ran until 10:20pm from Palma. Overall, the town feels like a real undiscovered gem which in a few years’ time will likely be a tourist hotspot in peak season. Very lovely authentic Majorcan house with individual rooms in a lovely small village. Good location to discover the island and start biking tours. They have a lot of knowledge about the island and can give great recommendations for things to do. They were super helpful whenever we had any requests. The breakfast was always delicious, a big portion with local and fresh ingredients. Sineu is in a good location to explore all of the island, and there were many events in the middle of August that made the small town very lively.
