    The marina is a great place to stay.

    The marina is a great place to stay. Bunker beach on one side is beautiful. The town of Torreguadiaro is a nice walk and some great fish restaurants. We went to gym every day in the marina one 4 one fitness which was great. Great local cafes and bars. Quiet and relaxing. Great roads to go to different parts of Spain. Trocodero always lovely. Bunker beach bar. Foodisiac in Marina. Rooftop bar at Hotel Mim. Great seafood at El Trasmallo de Agustino Torreguadiaro.

    We had a very pleasant stay and were very well looked after,...

    We had a very pleasant stay and were very well looked after, especially by the staff. Liked  · Breakfast was superb, Ale-carte, very quick service, excellent coffee. The layout of the golf course was magnificent very interesting and very varied, plenty of risk and reward holes, although in need of better maintenance, Tee's, cart paths, signage, etc. Disliked  · We requested a quite room, yet we had strange noises all night, one like a large sliding door being opened and closed ever half hour or so, and another like a generator starting and stopping. When booking we where not told that the main restaurant was closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the 2 nights that we where there. Tons of swallows nests over the entrance to our rooms, and lots of bird droppings that we had to walk through to get into the room.

    Sotogrande is a great place to visit

    Sotogrande is a great place to visit A great marina with shops, restaurants and bars. It's just a shame we had a bad experience with our chosen accommodation. We have been before and no doubt go again but next time be very cautious about our choice of where to stay.

    Sotogrande is a pearl of a place located on the southern coast of Spain, about 1 hour south of Malaga. I found this very nice racquet club, minutes from my hotel; 6 tennis courts, 3 red clay, 3 hard courts, 6 Padel courts. The staff was super accommodating. There were multiple restaurants in the port area which were all within a 5 minute walk. Nice beaches in the area. Close to Gibraltar and Morocco, etc. Great weather

    Sotogrande is a unique place. It is secure environment.

    Sotogrande is a unique place. It is secure environment. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from and some small boutique type shops. It is not a place that welcomes the badly behaved, it is cosmopolitan, family or individual you will find it suits. I have been visiting for 10 years alone and with family and always want to return. KE is a Spanish restaurant with wonderful views of the sunset over the Med. Hairy Lemon can not be faulted for its appeal to all ages and the staff most helpful. Friday night for Euro Tapas is a must do. Midas has the cooling breeze while being able to sample the Spanish menu or sip a Cava on the large terrace. That is just a sample of the port there is Mercado de Levante a few minutes walk with more shops, bars, restaurants and views. Car, cycle, Segway, boat whatever your mode of transport they can be hired in Soto. I would recommend a visit, Sotogrande is expensive by comparison with other local places but definitely, as they say, "you gets what you pay for"
