We stayed here because we had a ferry to catch the following day it only took us 30minutes to drive from here to Santander. It was a beautiful town, beautiful views, houses and was a very quiet calm atmosphere. We were glad we picked and booked the hotel we stayed in. Suances is a lovely place to stay and explore the surrounding areas. It has everything you need for a vacantion in Northern Spain : beaches, wonderful landscapes, convenient point to get to all touristic atractions. Slight problem with the sofa bed.
Slight problem with the sofa bed. When in the seating position it was almost impossible to sit on as it tilted towards the floor and you slid off. Not comfortable at all and is the only comfy seating apart from one small armchair.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom

An additional bonus was the La Cala pizzeria just five minutes walk away and serving excellent pizzas at a good price, (our veggie one was 11 euros and was ample to share). Another bonus is that the beach is very close by and we parked in the centre of Suances and enjoyed a pleasant walk and meal there.Guest review byDavidSpain

Unfortunately staff didn't speak English. I just heard that there is a problem. Later came the waitress which gave me a key to a room with a street view. No "sorry", no explanations, nothing.
