Staying in the Jewish Quarter was great as it was away from the main tourist crowds . The main square is very busy with buses driving through, We discovered an amazing spot for tapas- Taverna Botero. Extraordinary tapas with excellent service- enjoyed eating there 3 days in a row. Toledo seemed to have less outdoor eating/drinking places than there were in Segovia which we also visited. I think this was perhaps due to the fact that buildings are so tightly packed together compared to Segovia. Toledo is beautiful but very hilly and steep hills. If you could make me 10 years younger I could have seen and done more. The hop on hop off sightseeing bus was great for us. We spent the first two nights of our fly drive trip around the region in Toledo and were not disappointed. Beautiful city, lots to see and do. Old winding streets full of character, lots of historical places to see and visit - known as the city of three cultures (Moorish, Christian and Jewish). Toledo is a beautiful city well worth discovering, nestled on the hillside within old city walls with the river Tajo and countryside below. There's an amazing history themed park called Puy de Fou with an amazing night show well worth seeing! And don't forget the archaeological sites, old town, Greco and army Alcazar museums - and that's just to name a few!Guest review bysarahSpain

The location is centrally located in one of the main squares of the old town . Transfer from Toledo train station is via a 15min walk. Since Toledo is all uphill there’s an escalator(see pic attached) which can be easily missed as it is situated within a public car park.
