LOVED THE BEACH AND LOADS OF LOVELY RESTURANTS AND PLENTY OF LITTLE SHOPS. DIDNT GET TO EXPLORE AS MUCH AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED AS I WAS ATTENDING A 3 DAY WEDDING, BUT PLANNING TO RETURN IN MAY. GREAT LITTLE STEAK HOUSE CALLED "LA CACEROLA STEAK HOUSE" GENEROUS PORTIONS AND FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. THIS IS RUN BY A FAMILY DAD AND DAUGHTER SERVING SON IN THE BAR AND WIFE DOING ALL THE COOKING THE PLACE HAS A GREAT ATHMOSPHERE AND ALL FOOD ID COOKED TO ORDER. THERE IS A LIFT UP AND DOWN TO THE BEACH COSTS 50 CENT EACH WAY CLOSES AT 12 AM. TRAIN IS SUPER HANDY AND CAN BRING YOU FROM THE AIRPORT DOESNT COST MUCH.Guest review byLouiseIreland - 8.0

Wide variety of bars, cafes and restaurants. Easy to get to via train and bus. Wide, clean beaches, a very efficient town hall from my experience. People are friendly and welcoming. Beautiful town with good public transport, nice streets with great food and souvenir shops. Lots of moments spent on near historical points like Colomares Castle, Alhambra, Alacazar, Gibraltar, Sevilla, Granada, cable car or dolphin view sea cruise in Benalmadena,… Public transport is good although it would be better to have something like hola card in Barcelona for all transport types - train, bus, payable with one card. The cold cuts and cheeses were tasteless. Other hot dishes were also tasteless and poor in quality. No variation in breakfast during 11 days. Many hotel guests packed a huge amount of food in backpacks and drinks in several water bottles. They were on a budget holiday and chose a cheap hotel for this reason. Rooms were very spacious and clean and beds very comfortable. The buffet restaurant was ok, maybe I would have appreciated some gluten free options for bread or breakfast being left in a basket for gf visitors.
