Turre is a delightful little town, only 3.5 miles from the beautiful coastline and resort of Mojacar. The historic centre is typically Spanish with a beautifully preserved town hall and a tiled water fountain which used to be the only water source in bygone years. The mountain views are amazing and it is easy to reach the town via excellent roads. I highly recommend two local restaurants: El Pago and Los Angeles for lunch or dinner; plus the cafe in the main square to enjoy a delicious coffee and people watch. There is also a bakery in the square and at a short distance the well stocked Super Turre supermarket.Guest review by@theVW1United Kingdom
