Very beautiful location and it is right next to a trail with trails going to all directions so it’s a truly hiker’s paradise (the hike to the Atalaya peak was my wife’s favorite. You can see from there a big part of the island, volcanos, lava, salt plains, Fuerteventura dunes - just amazing). The rental space is on the ground floor of the owners house with the individual entrance. Newly remodeled, very well stocked and everything is of a very high quality. The high-end lamps compensated for the lack of natural light and we really liked the fans. Very interesting to see such new technology. My wife loves cooking so she very much appreciated a gas stove (2 burners) instead of electric, and all appliances. Having a washing machine was very handy. The bed and the beddings were best we encountered in 5 years of regular travel. One of the best sleeps. Nina and her family treated us like a family. Very kind people. I highly recommend it.

Nice house in a quiet street, calm surroundings. Bus stop 10 minutes away, small supermarket 8 minutes. Beautiful garden, absolutely clean inside, I enjoyed my stay very much!

This place is fabulous. It just opened, so there were not many guests and everything was brand new. The staff is super friendly. The beds are super comfortable. The quality of the food in the restaurant is superb. The location has incredible views and is close to the main road to drive everywhere else on the island. I loved everything! Starting with the location of the hotel "pieds dans l'eau "with an infinity pool and two jacuzzis directly overlooking the sea, an easy access to the near beaches, lush greenery and palm trees all over and littlevm nooks set up in the garden. The food quality was excellent, the buffet was very varied and changed every day of the week, mumtopled healthy options too, there are two other restaurants available à la carte. The atmosphere in the evening was, calm, cozy and romantic with live violin players or a saxophonists. The decor of the the of the hotel was to my taste, it is modern exotic with a touch of originality, "du charme" et "du cachet". The even most pleasant thing was the customer service, the staff is really very well trained, very polite, attentive and anticipated my needs.

    Unfortunately we did not see anything of Uga as the property...

    Unfortunately we did not see anything of Uga as the property was unsuitable for use - filthy pool and very worn settee and unpleasant owner, even though when emailing he appears "charming and helpful" which we found to the contrary. We stayed one night and then left and the property we found at very short notice was superb. Hopefully we may stay another time in Uga but definitely not at this property.

    A very clean little village, pretty much new-build rather than old. The downside was finding somewhere to eat, especially on a Monday in the winter months (seemingly). The mini mercado was our saving grace! The pizzeria/cafe opposite the church is very good and popular with the locals which has to be a good sign. Bodega di Santiago on the Uga side of Yaiza is fabulous but it’s expensive.

    Local people were kind and friendly. Small village that kept a traditional atmosphere yet welcoming and safe feel. CASA TILAMA Numero 28 has it all. And that HANDMADE SOAP BUSINESS next door Complimented it well as it perfumed the area with those AROMATICS. While having your early morning coffee on that coffee bar. Travelling with a father on a wheelchair has made him feel more encouraged to come on my Next Business travel…. UGA is the PLACE for us… a perfect respite and access to Timanfaya and EL GOLFO. Casa TILAMA is your home in UGA.
