Estrella and her team treated me, a lone extranjero with little Spanish, not only as an honored guest but also as a member of the Utrera family. Wonderful breakfast as well as a stylish restaurant with excellent grilled lamb and beef.

Nothing not to dislike. There was even a simple breakfast selection availablke with a coffee machione and a microwave. The proprietor was very amiable in changing the booking for the next day when my car broke down. Located near the centre of the village with easy access to bars and restaurants and hiking trails.

Authentic hospitality in a luxurious and tastefully decorated house in a beautiful natural environment. Bed and coffee/tea machines are of very good quality. Fabulous breakfast and simple but nice dinners. Houses positioned to protect privacy. Houses 11 and 12 have the best views Near Cuenca and the Ciudad Encantada (beautiful ride, stop atvthe Devil's window).

This is a lovely, extremely reasonable little hotel deep in the hills and gorges north of Cuenca. It's in a very tiny village where, as far as we could see, there was no other place to eat or drink, but that didn't matter because (and I'd checked beforehand that this would be possible) we ate in the hotel. We were the only people staying here on that night but we still had a tasty supper and good breakfast. It's exactly the kind of place that we love, although it might not suit those who expect to have a kettle in the room, English-speaking personnel, an international menu and a hotel that could be anywhere in the world. It is hard these days to find the differences between countries, but this place is very Spanish in all the best ways. As an example, for breakfast there was no menu, we were just asked what we wanted and this was produced, with smiles and charm. The couple who own and run it are absolutely delightful; I didn't try to speak to them in English so I don't know if they speak it, but I can imagine that their friendliness and helpfulness would make it easy for them to communicate whatever the language. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, if you want a road trip through Spain, this is the area to be.

    Our host Leo was super helpful and very friendly. The apartment could not have been cleaner and was extremely comfortable. Its location was very central, close to the Laguna of Uña and the start of a number of spectacular hiking trails into the surrounding hills.

    Uńa is a beautiful spot, the accomodation was very cozy and warm (which we appreciated in december). The restaurant downstairs offers good meal even late in the evening and the staff is super nice. Great place to stay, and beautiful surroundings to discover.
