    This is a wonderful place to stay both short term and long...

    This is a wonderful place to stay both short term and long term. We really loved everything about it. Alejandra, is fantastic, and created a spectacular experience for 2 weary Camino Pilgrims. The food was beyond compare, and the facility is extremely clean. The location on the Camino is perfect and the town is lovely. We will definitely be back!

    This is an elegant and comfortable guesthouse. It is a traditional house but recently renovated. Our room was large and had its own sink with water. Bathroom is shared. Alejandra is a warm host. We had a delicious breakfast. This is an excellent place to stay on the Valcarlos route of the Camino Frances, or for a holiday in the mountains.

    We really enjoyed our stay at etxeale in Valcarlos. The pensione was beautiful, it was spotlessly clean, our room and bed were comfortable, and Alejandra was an excellent cook, so dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Ten out of ten.

    Perfect place to stay in Valcarlos to recover from day one of the Camino. Had pilgrim dinner up the road. Location perfect. Staff were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.
