FAQs about hotels in Valencia

A Walk Through History

As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Don't miss out on sipping fresh, local orange juice or enjoying tasty tapas in a sidewalk café.

Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.

The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.

Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75,000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.

As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city center hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also has guesthouses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

Accessible(transport)with your credit or debit card. The beaches and sand are the best in the morning. The city center is full of life both day en night. I dare say it's 100 times better than Paris. The weather was warm even in October. Hikers' dream in montanejos or moraig. Very safe unlike Rome and London. The 'T' gardens by bike are something. Hostels have these pub crawls at 10:30pm every night, you can meet solo travelers. Usually return home abit disappointed after traveling, this time I left Valencia happy.

I enjoyed being back in Spain again, always welcoming, good food, reasonably priced. Historic areas always good to visit plus the science museum. Disappointed with beach area. Not attractive, flat, no character. Certainly wouldnt visit again. Transport excellent as most is in Spain, and cheap. We got lost twice, as maps were not very good and the public we encountered didnt seem to know there own area, resorted to cabs.

Valencia is a beautiful city with many fine buildings and a relaxed safe atmosphere. In our short time in the city, we got around as many of the main visitor attractions as possible. The city is really vibrant at night and we took in the sights and sounds and enjoyed eating at a small number of the many restaurants. We were also lucky with outstanding weather during our visit.

This city has something for everyone, from beautiful old buildings to modern architecture. The old city is a gem, boasting many tourist attractions. My favourite spot in Valencia is the City of Arts and Sciences. There are also many parks in the city, and the Jardín del Turia is stunning. You can relax there all day and discover exotic plants in the Botanic Garden. We also enjoyed the large beach and the beautiful sea. The transport system in Valencia is good, and you can reach every area by public transport. Another highlight is the food: you definitely have to try paella and fideuá, two Valencian specialities. Valencia is one of those European cities that you will never regret visiting.

The hotel was located essentially on the beach. It was close to lots of gorgeous restaurants on the beach front. The buses and trams are located within walking distance (<5mins) Staff were very friendly. The room was kept very clean. I didn't have a room facing the beach, but it had a lovely balcony to watch the sunset. I noted previous comments about noise levels, I didn't have any issues during my stay, although I did bring Earplugs just incase. Overall very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was literally on the beach front. Would recommend London lounge bar about 20 min bike from hotel. We also had paella in a local restaurant. The shower was great, kitchen facilities worked and tv had Netflix. We arrived quite late but were provided with codes via WhatsApp for both the entrance and our apartment. Our keys were left inside for us.

The accommodation is directly on the beach, restaurants are close by and are very good, both in terms of price and selection. Two bus stops of the hop on hop off bus are also very close to the hotel. This is also very positive. Overall, we had a good time, the reception staff is very nice!

The hotel is well maintained - our room was spacious, with a large modern bathroom and a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and the location right on the beach and close to good restaurants was wonderful.

The property was on the beach and there was lovely restaurants nearby. The staff could not do enough for you. The food in the hotel was out of this world and worth a visit.
