The hotel is amazing, the room was cleaning every day, there was a surprise for us because of our anniversary which made our stay so special. Moreover,all the staff from the reseption, housemades, etc. was so helpful, kind, and friendly, especially Stanislava from the restaurant on the 9th floor. I definitely recommend the hotel and cannot wait to visit it again.

Centrally located, very elegant hotel. Big thanks to amazing staff who prepared a surprise in a room for my parents, it was lovely. Thanks for the card and snacks in the room, it was a big addition and made their stay amazing. There are many restaurants and big shopping mal nearby. Hotel is very clean, bathroom was spacious and the room was good (bed can be more comfortable and little bigger). Thanks again for everything, I recommend!

Everything was great. There was an 8-minute walk to a metro station with direct connection to the airport, and a 5-minute walk to a bus stop with direct connection to the beach. The surrounding area had multiple restaurants, cafés, and bars, and there were two great rooftop and ground floor bars at the hotel. All staff were wonderful, the welcome package was extremely thoughtful, and the rooms were very clean and modern. Overall, very well worth the stay - cannot recommend it enough!

A Walk Through History

As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Sipping fresh, local orange juice, whilst enjoying tasty tapas in a pavement café, is not to be missed.

Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.

The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.

Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.

As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city centre hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also offers guest houses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

    Four days in Valencia went quickly but were just enough to catch the sights. Not much into the museums and exhibitions so left out the aquarium but soaked in the atmosphere of the narrow streets of the old town, Turia park, central market, seaside and marina. Neighbourhood tavernas and bars offer great value for tapas style dining and quenching one's thirst. The public transport is efficient and inexpensive way to get around - the tourist card, if you are not going to visit a lot of museums etc. is not great value but what is not widely advertised is the SUMA T day card (24, 48 or 72 hrs for unlimited travel on Metrovalencia, EMT, MetroBus and RENFE Cercanías) available from the metro stations - if you arrive by air you can purchase SUMA T+ card which allows you also access to the airport. Mid September 2025 was out of season with less visitors but the day temperatures were in excess of +30C which, with humidity, could wear one out, so next visit will be later in the autumn.

    The Hotel was everything we expected Las Arenas We took a taxi into town to see the towers that once protected the city which was quite interesting. we did climb one tower for th view and did a little shopping and had lunch there

    For a visitor, Valencia is a great palace to come as a tourist. It is historic, full of interesting old and new sights and with a compact centre, despite being one of the largest cities in Spain. It is easy to walk to most sights and there is a great metro/bus/tram system; also, being on the coast, it is easily possible to combine a city visit with a seaside stay - and there are a number of interesting places not to far away. It seems to have attractions for those of all ages and finally, as the icing on the cake, it was not quite as expensive as we thought it would be .

    We are transplanted New Yorkers who live in Barcelona, and this was our first visit to Valencia and the main destination on our road trip to southern Spain (we also stopped in Altea and Peñiscola). Valencia feels a bit smaller than Barcelona and much less touristy—in fact there aren't that many people in the city. But it is a very beautiful and architecturally diverse city, with wonderful restaurants and an incredible park that spans something like 10km and is also Spain's largest urban park. Plan to spend some time in Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences, which is like its own separate town. I would definitely add Valencia to any itinerary to southern Spain.

    Valencia is one of my favorite cities to visit – this was already my third time here, and I know I’ll keep coming back many more times in the future. The city is very easy and enjoyable to explore on foot, and the people are incredibly warm and kind. We tried all the must-eat local specialties – from paella to horchata – and loved every bite. For young couples, it’s the perfect place to wander around, enjoy the beach, discover beautiful spots together, and just soak up the lively atmosphere of the city.

    Valencia is a fabulous place - it does expand further than you think (Communidad of Valencia) but the different areas around the City are interesting & easy to get to! Bus/tram system second to none & cheap & you can travel on any bus for up to an hour with one purchased ticket. Lots to satisfy all age groups & interests - City, Beach, Arts & Sciences & many other attractions /Museums with such a selection of restaurants or bars too, whichever part of Valencia you visit. Casa Montana, Cien Fuego & Nou Raco (in Albufera) we’re favourite restaurants. Found Valencia a far friendlier & a bit more laid back City than Barcelona or Madrid.

    This is a lovely hotel in a great location, right on the beach and close to the city centre. We only stayed one night before joining a cruise, but the room was great and the staff were super welcoming and friendly, they all spoke perfect english. We ate in the hotel restuarant in the evening and our meal was excellent, cannot fault this place and will definitely return!
